The Story

Thirty Years at the Trowel's Edge

Kevin Davis is a highly experienced master plasterer with more than 30 years of continuous work in traditional, ornamental, and restoration plaster. Beginning his career at a young age, he mastered drywall finishing, lime plaster, acrylic systems, and historic plaster techniques through years of apprenticeship and hands-on fieldwork.

In the 1980s, Kevin trained under an English-incorporated ornamental plaster company, where he spent 15 years refining advanced heritage skills. During this time, he contributed to major restoration projects, including the United States Capitol, Hippodrome Theatre, Clifton Mansion, U.S. Court of Appeals Building, and the Baltimore Basilica.

Today, Kevin is recognized as a Plaster Restoration Specialist, known for blending old-world craftsmanship with modern application techniques to preserve, repair, and elevate historic and contemporary spaces.

How We Work

Vetting Before Commitment

We review every project before accepting it. This isn't gatekeeping — it's integrity. We only take work we can execute at the highest level.

Natural Materials Only

Lime, marble dust, natural aggregates, and mineral pigments. We don't use synthetic binders or acrylic additives in traditional plaster applications.

The Work Takes the Time It Takes

Lime plaster cannot be rushed. Each coat must cure before the next is applied. We don't compress timelines at the expense of quality.
